About AMA Events

AMA Events is an independent guide to the types of events people in Bangkok and Pattaya go to. It is written by a small editorial team.

What we publish

We publish evergreen guides: how school open days work, what happens at a university fair, how to play a card game before you sit down at a table, how a golf society day runs. Each guide is reviewed periodically and carries the month it was last checked.

We do not publish a dated event calendar, because calendars go out of date quickly and readers end up at events that have moved or been cancelled. When we mention a specific event, we link to the organiser so that you can check the date.

What we leave out

We do not cover gambling or casino events. We do not sell event listings, and we do not publish reviews or testimonials.

Links

Some pages link to schools, operators and businesses. We include a link when it helps a reader act on the guide. Some linked businesses have a commercial relationship with the people who run this site, and that relationship does not change what we write about them.
